With her colorful tattoos, assorted
attached jewelry, and distinct
individuality, Angie Jakusz was Survivor 10 Palau's
answer to Lex Van Den Berghe of Survivor
3 Africa. Lex may have gone
further in the game, but Angie was no less
memorable.
Despite being the very last female chosen during
Palau's playground-style genesis, Angie
acquitted herself admirably. She threw
herself heart-soul-&-body-art into every
challenge, and generally proved herself an
asset to an otherwise weak-kneed tribe.
Our only hope is that the Bourbon Street minx is
familiar with our all-time favorite novel,
John Toole's A Confederacy Of Dunces.
For we rather suspect that Angie is better
qualified than most to appreciate the depth
and wonder of Ignatius J. Reilly's
marvelous, madcap adventures in New Orleans.
See you at Mardi Gras, Ange. No doubt
you'll be leading the parade, or if not, you
should be.
