Jenna Lewis is what we here at SurvivorFoxes.com
affectionately call a 'sleeper fox', which
is a reference to the notion that she
wasn't necessarily the most visible
female contestant on Survivor 1,
nor did she outlast the likes of Colleen
and Kelly while on Pluau Tiga, nor was she
the single most visible female castaway in
the wake of the publicity storm
afterwards. Nevertheless, to
this day there are few who don't vividly
recall her presence, her flowing hair, her
multiple bikinis, her particularly feminine grace.
When Jenna's
disappointment over not getting to see a
home video erupted into tears, what man
wouldn't have offered to dry them, to rub
a firm thumb across her cheeks, stroke her
neck, and assure her that all would be
well soon enough?
Few aspects of
Jenna speak more directly to her special
spirit than the fact that she gave birth
to twin daughters. It has been said
that mothers of twins are divinely chosen,
and in Jenna's case at least, one would be
hard pressed to argue the point, a special
woman with a most memorable style.
