Kim Powers was like fresh air on Survivor 3
~ pert & petite, soft &
unsassy, a pleasure to look at and listen
to. Her easy smile and feminine manner made us think of Colleen Haskell
and Elisabeth Filarski, no small
compliment to be sure. And like her
sisters in spirit before her, she too was
done in by weak alliances and the rotten
luck of landing in the weaker of the two
tribes.
Our fondest
memories of Kim will always be watching
her bathe at the ol' watering hole ~ that
sopping wet bikini, that squinting grin,
the water cascading across her gentle skin
and trim loins. Here at
SurvivorFoxes we can't recall anything
more sensuous on prime time this season,
save ABC's Victoria's Secret
fashion show.
One telling fact of Kim's life that
came to light during the hoopla
surrounding her appearance on Survivor:
Africa concerned her previous marriage engagement, and her having cancelled the
wedding a scant two weeks before its scheduled
date. Damn the arrangements, damn
the mailed invitations, damn the
deposits. Which could well explain
her stark adaptability to the African wild
~ alas beneath that gentle exterior lives
a ruthless-and-ravaging female.
Attention would-be suitors: forewarned is forearmed!
