Ah Lindsey, Lindsey, Lindsey ~ you
wild untamed woman you! Not since Jerri Manthey have Survivor
fans had such a femme fatale to consider,
and perhaps only Jerri's ouster at Tribal
Council elicited more cheers than did
Lindsey Richter's in Kenya.
But not so fast ~ quite unlike others who go-along to
get-along, Lindsey was neither afraid to
take a stand nor to speak her peace,
qualities that are to be admired.
Indeed our most vivid memory of Linz
involved her one-on-one conquest of Carl
Bilancione that sent the good Doctor packing
on-the-spot ~ Linz you go girl!
And though her
time amongst the lions & giraffes
& elephants was relatively brief, her
impression was lasting. Just as
Bogie & Bacall will always have Paris,
the rest of us will always have the tick
that dug itself into Lindsey's
silky derriere. Not to mention Bryant Gumbel's timeless quip that he was rooting
for the tick!
