Ex-cheerleader Penny Ramsey's performance on Survivor 5
Thailand was retribution for the geeks,
dweebs, and Janis Ians of the world, whose
truths learned at seventeen, as it turns
out, don't necessarily hold sway as adults. For as pretty & popular as
Penny may have been in homeroom and
on-campus, on Koh
Tarutao she was seen as manipulative &
cunning, and it soon became clear that she
had zero chance of waltzing off with the
grand prize.
Yet here at SurvivorFoxes.com ~ with nary a geek nor
dweeb in sight ~ we thought her adorable, and were it not for the hulking
presence of the man-of-her-dreams waiting
back in Texas we'd perhaps be sending her
white roses on a regular basis. Well,
her and Amber, Colleen, Jerri, KellyG,
Tanya. . .
Our fondest memory of Ms. Ramsey ~ and the one we
believe best represents her character ~ was
that of her inciting her tribe to victory in
a basket-catch challenge. There's
something immensely alluring about a woman
who steps up and takes charge when the
situation merits, who simply refuses to lose
when serving for the match. Indeed
can-do usually does. Penny,
