No one who watched Survivor 10 Palau
week by week will soon forget Stephenie
LaGrossa. Over the course of S10's
first eleven episodes, considering how much
time she seemingly spent onscreen, Mark
Burnett might just as well have renamed his
show 'The Stephenie Variety Hour'. The
relentless 25-year-old singlemindedly
outlasted (dispatched might be a more apt
term) each member of her entire original
tribe, and was practically enroute to an
all-female final four when her bandwagon hit
a speed-bump and disintegrated in a
unanimous ouster.
When the dust cleared, Steph landed on the jury in
seventh place overall, and joined the likes
of S6's Rob Cesternino & S4's Kathy O'Brien
as superb players of the game of Survivor
who didn't win it all. Long ago,
someone far wiser than us coined the phrase,
'Where there's a will there's a way'.
For 30 days and 29 nights, Stephenie
LaGrossa proved the point for all the world
to see.
