Truth be known, Trish Dunn of Survivor 7 Pearl Islands
made a rather interesting castaway.
Not that she played the game especially well
~ the proof is in the pudding ~ she was
ousted before the merge, out of the loop,
out of the money.
But Trish will go down as the first tribe member to
speak the truth about S7 ~ namely, that for
all intents & purposes it had become the
'Rupert Boneham Dog & Pony Show'. We
don't disagree with the sentiment, but
proffering an early coup d'etat strategy
against the guy who's out catching all the
fish was bound to backfire. And so it
was with Trish, who lasted six episodes.
Her shining moment, though, came during the debut
episode, when a Spanish-speaking lesbian
Panamanian made a pass at her in the
village. Trish's naiveté was precious
~ she was oblivious to the notion, even
while the rest of us sensed that she was a
whisker away from being taken hostage by the
villagers. Now *there's* a plot for a
CBS drama!
